This is us! We are small but mighty. Many people have asked “what does H.E.R.S. mean?” Here is the answer: Barney opened the door to H.E.R.S. Incorporated in March of 1983. He originally started out by repairing boom truck for the local utility companies and contractors. Sooooo… H.E.R.S. is the acronyms for Hydraulic Equipment Repair Specialists. The business bloomed into manufacturing trailers, such as, pole / pipe, reel and other specialty trailers, installations of aerial devices, and the assembly of Cablecraft control cables. Over the years we have changed our direction a little bit. Today we no longer repair boom trucks or install aerial devices, but we are a representative for many trailer manufactures and distribute trailers, and we still make a lot of cables. We are currently sales and service of the Dixie Chopper Zero Turn Lawn Mower, Ventrac Tractor and Attachments, Redmax and Maruyama Power Lawn Equipment. With Barney's strong influence on personal customer service we have been able to keep our doors open.
